Annabel's tween bedroom refresh

I'm sure we can all be sympathetic to the struggles of the emerging tween, and with Nat's daughter Annabel approaching eleven years old, we thought was time for a cheeky little bedroom update before the impending norsuHOME renovation.
The Brief 
Much like her mother, Annabel is particular about the things she likes (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree Natty!), so for this update, we wanted to make sure we were staying true to her personality. 

The Criteria
1. Blush is only allowed in minimal quantities
2. We need to incorporate her current favourite pieces
3. The refresh must work with the permanent pieces in her room (i.e. wallpaper, lighting fixtures) 
4. Needs to fit the 'preppy' and 'aesthetic' vibe (does anyone really understand this tiktok lingo?)

What we did

In true norsu style, we added a touch of blush with the Eadie Lifestyle Carter linen (hint hint, we have a special below). Swapping out the flat sheet is the perfect way to update your bedding without replacing the lot! We had to include Annabel's little personal touches. Who would have thought we could make vines from amazon look so good?!
We made sure to include her favourite products from All Kinds and Mecca as well to give her that perfect 'night time routine' feel (more tiktok influence...oops!)
At the end of the day, this is a ten-year-olds room! So things need to be practical. We popped our washable cushions on the bed to keep things puppy proof and opted for an affordable print, because let's face it...kids change their mind! Finally, we swapped out the Mustard Made locker for an Alice bedside to make the space more mature, without sacrificing storage.The end result is a warm, fun, and 'preppy' appropriate space that Annabel can thrive in as she enters the often-awkward tween phase!
